Special guest at this event will be Christian Rath, Vice President Global Manufacturing Services Griffith Foods Inc., with a valuable contribution regarding the implementation of a project in the field of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring on critical assets. Eng. Rath will illustrate the importance of taking care of the particular needs of each plant in increasing reliability and productivity which translates into specific projects based on the needs of individual plants, always with an emphasis on R&D.

Abstract:

Modern data acquisition, monitoring and diagnostic systems are evolving rapidly, also driven by Industry 4.0. This evolution has made it possible to significantly expand the areas of application of these systems, making them suitable and applicable for the most diverse purposes such as: On-Line Monitoring, Process Optimization, Quality Assurance and Automated Testing. The project developed in collaboration with Griffith Foods Inc. is a valid example of this innovative application of On-Line Monitoring systems. The need of Griffith Foods Inc. to implement a remote condition monitoring system on a strategic plant, functional to increase the reliability of the plant itself, but also to acquire important information on the process – fundamental for optimizing it, met a valid ally in the solutions of the ISE team.
